Our spacious nursery offers light and bright rooms for each age group and a well-equipped garden with outdoor classroom. Creativity is at the heart of everything we do as our Owner and Manager spent several years studying a programme of music and art-based education classes. Children enjoy music, dance, yoga and creative classes with qualified staff in our own creative areas, and also enjoy both our sensory room and soft play areas. Additionally, we have introduced discovery and exploration areas for children to inspire learning and creativity within beautiful environments. The nursery is easily accessible as we are very close to bus and train routes and we have free parking just outside. We are a forward-thinking nursery where children are always our focus. Our Ad-hoc system is extremely flexible allowing you to book in session’s on a weekly basis providing you with the ultimate choice as well as emergency hours when the unexpected occurs. We offer childcare for babies and children from 12 weeks to 10 years. Our fees are at a competitive hourly rate and we offer flexible options for payment, including childcare voucher schemes, Tax-Free Childcare and funded entitlement (both 15 and 30 hours). All of our creative activities and classes are included, we also provide healthy meals including breakfast hot lunch with pudding and tea. Our fees also include excellent access to an impressive selection of resources and a wide variety of activities both inside and outside of the classroom. We offer a comprehensive programme of settling-in sessions to ensure that your child gets the best possible start to nursery. Kozy Cottage does not charge for Bank Holidays when the nursery is closed. We also offer 15 hours funded childcare, 30 hours funding (for eligible children) and you can also pay using Tax-Free Childcare to get up to 40% off your fees paid for you by the Government. With this in mind, our parents get free access to our app, which allows you to be engaged with what is happening. For example, you will be able to see what your child has been eating, how much they ate and exactly how long they had a nap for. You will also be able to see photos, videos and access written reports, assessments and observations on your child. You can comment too and also message your child’s carers or a member of management. Our parents love it and it’s also a great way for relatives, such as grandparents to also see how your child is enjoying their time at kozy cottage. Of course we value face-to-face communication too and our staff are always available at the end of your child’s session to provide valuable feedback. We have a dedicated SENCo who will work alongside your child's key person to ensure that your child is included within the nursery activities and that they get the most out of their time with us. Be assured that we will work with you to support both you, your family and your child to put in place any requirements needed. Sometimes we might involve other professionals to support your child such as speech and language therapists if we agree together this would help your child.
