A little bit about us…

Kozy Cottage childcare Day Nursery is an exciting and unique setting in Cramlington. Our spacious nursery offers light and bright rooms for each age group and a well-equipped garden with outdoor classroom. Creativity is at the heart of everything we do as our Owner and Manager spent several years studying a programme of music and art-based education classes. Children enjoy music, dance, yoga and creative classes with qualified staff in our own creative areas, and also enjoy both our sensory room and soft play areas.

Additionally, we have introduced discovery and exploration areas for children to inspire learning and creativity within beautiful environments. The nursery is easily accessible as we are very close to bus and train routes and we have free parking just outside. We are a forward-thinking nursery where children are always our focus.

As a parent or carer you are able have access to your child's learning 24 hours via our amazing Famly App. Our Educators and Management team are always available and are just a visit, phone call or message away to answer any questions.

Our Sessions

We are open 07:30-17:30 Monday-Friday, all year round. We only close for Bank Holidays.

Our sessions offer a great deal of flexibility, with full-time, part-time and sessional care available. We offer an hourly rate system, so you can choose the combination which works best for you and your child.

Our Ad-hoc system is extremely flexible allowing you to book in session’s on a weekly basis providing you with the ultimate choice as well as emergency hours when the unexpected occurs.

We offer childcare for babies and children from 12 weeks to 10 years.

Our fees are at a competitive hourly rate and we offer flexible options for payment, including childcare voucher schemes, Tax-Free Childcare and funded entitlement (both 15 and 30 hours).

Breakfast is served at 8.00am at a cost of £1.50 per day. 

Lunch is served at 11.30am at a cost of £3.00 per day for a hot lunch and pudding.

Tea is served at 3.30pm at a cost of £2.00.

You have the option to provide your own packed meals. Please speak to Either Denise (Nursery Manager) Or Karen (Deputy Manager) who will advise you on what food items are acceptable. (We cannot reheat any food)

Additional Hours

Parents can request additional hours before and after the funding entitlement hours, these can be requested at the time of registration. 4 weeks’ notice is required for any changes to additional

bookings. These hours are charged at our current hourly rate.

Ad-Hoc Additional Hours

These hours can be requested as required before and after funding entitlement hours. These must be requested 1 month in advance. These hours are charged at our current ad-hoc hourly rate.

You have the option to provide your own full care package, please note that each care plan cannot be split.

All items must be provided and brought into each session your child attends, as we have limited storage. Items missing will be provided by the nursery at the full session charge.

These charges will be advised in advance and charged accordingly, again you have the option to opt out of the additional activities
